RIT ADVANCE team awarded $122,000 for Dual Career Hire Programming
The NSF has awarded the RIT ADVANCE team $122,000 supplemental funding to broaden the impact of activities already planned around dual career hires. This program will establish a sustainable, high-quality business process/practice on the RIT campus to support dual career academic hires, specifically those that bring high-quality female academic faculty hires within STEM disciplines to RIT. Funding will be used to hire a project developer(s) with expertise in career development, program design, and marketing. Trailing spouse/partner hire initiatives will target the hire of adjunct, lecturer, post-doc, and visiting professors.
