This message is posted on behalf of Jeremy Haefner, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL FEBRUARY 9TH
Dear Faculty Colleagues,
As part of RIT’s continued commitment to faculty success and career development, I’m very excited to announce the 2014 AY Connect Grants Program offered by the AdvanceRIT project, Faculty Career Development Services (FCDS) and the Office of the Provost. This grant program is designed to support the leadership and career development of all tenured and pre-tenured faculty.
Please take a few moments to review the current Request for Proposals, corresponding rationale and selection criteria. There are two distinct funding tracks aligned with AdvanceRIT project goals. Connect Grants are designed to broaden faculty opportunities and enhance plans of work associated with tenure and promotion preparation and overall career advancement goals; department Connect Grants assist group-led, project-oriented efforts to enhance institutional transformation and support creative department-level initiatives intended to guide and manage faculty through various career stages.
Please find the online application and proposal documents on the AdvanceRIT website. Proposals are due Monday, January 26, 2015 with grant awards announced in February. The AdvanceRIT and FCDS teams hope you will consider how the Connect Grants Program may support your career and professional career goals.
