Join your colleagues for a workshop on “Best Practices in Mentoring Non-Tenure Track Faculty” where a team from Baylor University’s Academy for Teaching and Learning will share best practices on their successful non-tenure track lecturer mentoring program including valuable information for mentor, mentee, and academic leaders. This event is open to all RIT faculty, their mentors, and academic leaders.
Conveniently offered on Saturday, May 9 in order to accommodate as many faculty as possible who teach a full course-load during the week. Come for one topic presentation, or stay the whole day!

9:30-10:30 am - Creating a Positive Climate for Teaching: Policies, programs and recognition
10:45-11:45 am - Mentoring and Supporting Non Tenure-track Faculty: Assessing Instructor Needs
12:00-1:00 pm - Join your colleagues for networking and lunch!
1:15-2:15 pm - Evaluating, Supporting, and Inspiring Great Teaching: Policies, Procedures, and Programs for Non Tenure-track Faculty
2:15-2:30 pm - Brief Summary and Written Evaluation of Workshop
